About this copy
This is the ninth title in Enid Blyton's original Noddy series, printed in Great Britain by Purnell and Sons, Ltd. No date or printing statement is visible in the photographs, so the specific printing of this copy cannot be confirmed. The book retains its original pictorial dust jacket, priced 3s. 6d. net and unclipped.
The title page carries the standard printed facsimile Enid Blyton signature used throughout the series, not a genuine autograph. A previous owner has written their name, 'Roger Leatt', on the 'This Book Belongs To' page.
Condition
- Book
- Fair – boards show heavy wear at corners and spine ends, with tape residue and staining visible on an interior leaf near the title page, and an ownership inscription in ink.
- Dust jacket
- Fair – significant creasing and splitting along the spine fold, with corner and edge wear including small tears at the head and tail of the spine, and general surface rubbing to the front panel.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
