About this copy
The copyright page of this copy states 'First Printed 1954' with no later printings or reprint dates listed, consistent with a first printing of this title. Printed by Wyman & Sons Limited. This copy is bound in the publisher's original red cloth boards with black lettering to the front cover and spine.
No dust jacket is present. A name reading 'Enid Blyton' has been handwritten in ink on the front cover by a previous owner; this is not being represented as the author's genuine signature, as it cannot be authenticated from the photographs.
Condition
- Book
- Good - Sound and tightly bound red cloth boards, showing light wear to the spine ends and corners typical of age. A name has been handwritten in ink on the front cover. Faint marks are present on the front free endpaper. No dust jacket.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
