About this copy
The copyright page shows this edition was first issued in 1907, with a long list of subsequent reprint dates running through to 1924, which is the printing this particular copy represents. It is therefore a later reprint of the 1907 Dent edition rather than a first printing. Bound in red cloth boards with a blind-stamped decorative device to the front cover and gilt-style decoration to the spine.
The title page features an elaborate decorative border. No dust jacket is present.
Condition
- Book
- Good – cloth boards show overall age-related wear including fading to the covers, a small mark to the front board, and some fraying at the spine head and tail. Corners are lightly bumped. Text block appears clean and sound. Please see photos for full detail.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
