About this copy
This is the second printing (2007) of The Folio Society's illustrated edition of A Christmas Carol. The text follows the 1852 collected edition of Dickens's Christmas Books, with minor emendations. The illustrations by Michael Foreman were originally created in 1983 and are reproduced here by arrangement with Penguin Books Ltd. Bound in the publisher's full cloth boards, printed with a design by the artist, and housed in the original slipcase rather than a dust jacket, as issued.

- Very Good – cloth boards are bright and clean with gilt lettering intact, text block tight and square. A faint mark is visible on the lower right of the front board. The slipcase shows light rubbing to the edges and a small scuff to the lower front panel.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
