First edition, first printing. A collaborative publication between Sutton Libraries and Arts Services and Les Anciens d'Air France, documenting the memoirs of Jack Bamford, who became General Manager of Air Union in 1930 and continued in this capacity when the company became part of Air France. Bamford worked at Croydon Airport from its earliest days of cross-Channel service and was awarded the Légion d'honneur before his retirement in 1965.
