About this copy

This is a 1993 HarperCollins edition of Wise Owl's Story, part of the Little Grey Rabbit Library. The story was first published in 1935 by William Collins Sons & Co; for this edition, Alison Uttley's original text has been abridged, and an additional illustration on p.4 has been supplied by Mary Cooper. This copy is bound in glossy pictorial boards (no separate dust jacket was issued for this format) with Margaret Tempest's classic illustrations reproduced on the covers and throughout.

Condition

Book
Very Good – bright, glossy pictorial boards with clean lettering and illustrations; text block clean and tight. Light surface scuffing is visible on the rear board, with minor wear to the corners.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
