This is the 73rd edition, the 1969-1970 annual issue of the long-running angling guide covering river authorities, close seasons, licence information and salmon and sea-trout season tables for Scotland, Wales, Ulster and England. It is a later annual issue, not a first edition. The book is in green cloth boards with the pictorial dust jacket.
The jacket is torn and chipped at the top of the spine and at the head of the front panel, with a tear at the bottom of the spine.

- Good – Sound binding with age wear to the cloth boards and spine. Internal pages clean and text legible, with period advertisements. Previous owner's stamp on the endpaper.
- Dust jacket
- Fair – Chipped and torn at the top of the spine and front panel, creasing and surface wear, with a tear at the bottom of the spine. The printed price is not clearly legible.
