About this copy
This is a hardcover copy of McBride's account of the discovery of the white lions of the Timbavati Nature Reserve in South Africa, illustrated throughout with photographs, most taken by the author. The copyright page records a 1977 copyright but does not state a specific printing, so the exact printing of this copy cannot be confirmed from the text alone. The book is bound in pictorial laminated boards (no separate dust jacket issued/present), with the lion photograph forming the front cover art.
Condition
- Book
- Good – pictorial boards show rubbing and wear at the spine ends and corners, along with light surface scuffing to the front board. Text block and endpapers are clean. A publisher's promotional text strip is laid into the front and rear endpapers.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
