About this copy
This is the Mayflower paperback edition of Anthony Masters' non-fiction survey of vampire legend, folklore and film. The work was first published in hardback by Rupert Hart-Davis Ltd in 1972. Mayflower's paperback edition first appeared in 1974, and the copyright page of this copy states 'Reprinted 1975' - so this specific copy is the 1975 reprint of the Mayflower paperback, not a first edition or first printing.
A mass-market paperback in the striking Mayflower 'Illustrated' style, with a glossy photographic cover of blood-stained fangs against a black background.
Condition
- Book
- Good – a sound, readable paperback showing surface rubbing and light scuffing to the covers, a faint smudge to the lower front cover, and general edge wear consistent with its age. Spine appears tight; pages show light age-tanning typical of the period.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
