About this copy

This is the exhibition catalogue for 'The Genius of China', held at the Royal Academy, London, from 29 September 1973 to 23 January 1974. The exhibition was sponsored by The Times and Sunday Times in association with the Royal Academy and the Great Britain/China Committee. Text by William Watson.

The copyright page states 'First published 1973' with no later printing noted. Hardcover pictorial boards featuring a photographic image of the celebrated bronze 'Flying Horse of Gansu' sculpture to the front and rear covers. No dust jacket, as issued.

Condition

Book
Good – corners show wear and bumping with some exposed board, and there is scuffing/surface marking to the front and rear boards. A previous owner's name and old pencil price codes appear on the front free endpaper. Internally clean and sound.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
