About this copy
This is the first edition, first printing of Scott's study of the legal, moral, and social implications of organ and tissue transplantation. The copyright page states 'First published in 1981 by The Viking Press' with no subsequent printing notations. Russell Scott headed the Australian government task force that prepared a model code of laws on the use of the human body for medical and scientific purposes, completed in 1977.
Hardcover in original publisher's dust jacket, designed by Bob Silverman. The jacket retains its original printed price of $14.95 on the front flap and is unclipped.
