A vintage softcover collection of the Andy Capp newspaper cartoon strip, published as 'A Daily Mirror Book' and originally priced at 2'6 (two shillings and sixpence) as printed on the front cover. No copyright or printing history page was available to photograph, so the specific printing represented by this copy cannot be confirmed. This is a softcover (wrappers) publication; there is no separate dust jacket.
The title page carries a handwritten ink inscription from a previous owner reading a Christmas/New Year greeting, signed 'Bill' – this is an owner's inscription, not an authenticated signature of the artist.

- Fair – front cover shows a vertical crease, and the rear cover has a tear/split running up from the bottom edge with associated creasing. Corners are worn and softened, with general handling wear throughout consistent with age. Sound and complete but with noticeable defects as described.
