About this copy
This copy is the 1970 revised edition, reprinted in 1971, in the Illustrated Teach Yourself series. The copyright page reads 'First published in this form 1968 / Revised edition 1970 / Reprinted 1971'. The revised edition adds a new chapter and colour photographs from the 1970 World Cup.
This is not a first printing. Hardback with the original dust jacket, priced 75p UK net on the rear flap. The copy is an ex-school library book (Bognor Regis School Library), with library stamps, accession labels and a date-due card in the rear pocket.
Condition
- Book
- Good – Sound, clean text block and binding. Library stamps and labels on the endpapers and copyright page, a pink ring mark on the front endpaper, and a library date-due card still in the rear pocket.
- Dust jacket
- Fair – Chipping and loss to the top edge and spine head, a small tear at the lower corner of the front panel, and wear and light marks to the rear panel and flaps. The jacket has been protected with a plastic cover in library fashion.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
