This is the 1974 Daily Express Rupert annual, with a copyright date of 1974 on the title page and no indication of a later reprinting. The stories and strip illustrations throughout are by Alfred Bestall; the front and back cover artwork is by John Cubie, signed 'Cubie' on the rear board. Issued as a hardcover pictorial-board annual; these were not originally supplied with a dust jacket.

- Good – a well-presented used copy showing general age wear including light rubbing to the board edges and corners, light bumping to the spine ends, a faint crease line on the pictorial endpapers, and a small stain/foxing mark on the title page margin. Internal pages remain clean and bright with strong, vivid colour throughout.
