The book is bound in pink cloth boards with a cream cloth spine and paper title label, housed in its original pictorial dust jacket priced 6/- net on the front flap.
The front free endpaper carries an old pasted label reading 'Parish Church Sunday School, Awarded to Sheila Hance, Date 14th March 1948' with the recipient's name filled in by hand.
