About this copy

This is an undated hardcover collection of boys' adventure and school stories, illustrated throughout with black-and-white line drawings and several colour plates (including 'The Mystery of Graymere'). No printing or date statement is present in this copy, so the specific printing cannot be confirmed from the text alone. The book has a pictorial paper-covered front board depicting a group of schoolboys at a rugby match, with a plain cloth spine and rear board.

There is no dust jacket.

Condition

Book
Fair – the front pictorial board is soiled and stained with notable rubbing to the colour illustration, and there is a small area of cloth loss at the base of the rear board. The spine is intact but shows wear at the head and tail. Internally the text block is complete and tightly bound, with age-toned pages throughout. A period owner's inscription ('This Book Belongs To David Wells, From Brenda') appears on the front endpaper.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
