The catalogue covers Neolithic pottery from Ban-Chieng, Thailand; Chinese and Japanese ceramics of the Northern Wei, Tang, Song, Ming and Qing periods; an extensive suite of hardstone carvings (agate, amethyst, chalcedony, coral, carnelian, jade, lapis lazuli, rose quartz, turquoise); archaic bronzes from China, the Khmer regions and Thailand; cloisonne bronzes; and material from the Collection du Prince W. and other collectors, including inro, suzuribako and kobako by Kajikawa, Koma, and Yoyusai; netsuke in ivory and wood by Gyokusei, Hogyoku, Ikko, Josei and Ryumin; ivory statuettes; carved wood figures including gilt Burmese Buddha and horse figures; Japanese screens; and Japanese woodblock prints by Utamaro, Koryusai, Kiyonaga, Hokusai and Hiroshige.

Softcover wrappers, in French, illustrated with a photographic image of a jade ewer on the front cover.
