About this copy
JAPANISCHE LANDSCHAFTEN IN FARBHOLZSCHNITTEN Eingeleitet von Otto Kümmel. Published by Woldemar Klein Verlag, Baden-Baden, 1953. This is a volume from the 'Der Silberne Quell' series issued by Woldemar Klein Verlag, presenting color woodblock reproductions of Japanese landscape prints with an introductory essay by Otto Kümmel.
The copyright page is dated 1953 and no further printings are indicated on this copy. Issued in illustrated card wrappers, with a reproduction of a Hiroshige-style view of Mount Fuji on the front cover. There is no dust jacket; the wrappers themselves form the outer covering of the book.
Condition
- Book
- Fair – Pictorial wrappers show noticeable wear including bumped and softened corners, surface soiling, and a small chip/tear at the lower front edge. The spine has been reinforced with cloth tape, indicating a prior repair to the binding. The text block and internal plates appear clean.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
