About this copy

This is the exhibition catalogue produced for 'An Exhibition of Theatre Prints with a Collection of Swords', held at the Kegan Paul Gallery, 43 Great Russell Street, London, from Thursday 16th March to Friday 14th April 1972. The catalogue is a stapled card-cover pamphlet, illustrated throughout in black and white with Japanese woodblock prints (including works by Kuniyoshi) and swords, with detailed catalogue entries describing subjects, publishers, seals and approximate dates. The acknowledgements page credits B.W. Robinson, Sir Frank Bowden, and actor Raymond Burr for lending items to the exhibition, including a painting reproduced on the back cover.

Condition

Book
Good – a well-used exhibition catalogue with wear and toning to the card covers, including a small nick to the top right corner of the front cover. Internally clean and complete, staple-bound and sound.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
