No printing or date statement is visible in the photographed pages, so the specific printing of this copy cannot be confirmed from the images alone. The rear panel notes an original price of 3s.
6d. net. This copy has no dust jacket. The front free endpaper carries a previous young owner's name written in ink.

- Fair – pictorial boards show significant wear with cracked and split spine ends, bumped and fraying corners with board showing through, and scuffing to the covers. Internally there is foxing/staining to the title page and adjoining leaf, and an owner's name inscription on the front endpaper. The text block otherwise appears complete.
