This is the original auction sale catalogue (Sale Number 3409) for the October 5 and 6, 1972 sale of the Hans Popper Collection of Japanese ukiyo-e prints. The catalogue includes numerous black and white plate illustrations of prints by artists such as Utamaro and Torii Kiyonaga, along with detailed lot descriptions, as issued for the sale. Issued in illustrated card wrappers with a color reproduction of an Utamaro print on the front cover.

- Good - the softcover wrappers show scattered foxing/spotting and light soiling to the front cover, along with a small chip/area of loss at the lower edge near the spine. Some handwritten pencil/ink notations appear at the top of the front cover. Interior pages and plates appear clean and intact.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
