About this copy
Printed by Direct Offset, Glastonbury. A stapled programme/order of service for the annual Glastonbury Abbey Pilgrimage held on Saturday 24th June 1978. The booklet includes a foreword by the Lord Bishop of Bath and Wells, details of the order of service, and the constitution of the West of England Pilgrimage Association, including its officers and purposes.
The foreword page carries an ink signature reading "+ John Bath & Wells", apparently that of the Bishop whose foreword appears above it. This has not been independently authenticated.
Condition
- Book
- Good – a slim stapled pamphlet with light age toning and some show-through of text to the covers, and a faint central crease to the front cover. Staples/stitching intact and text clean and legible throughout. This is a pre-owned item, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
