About this copy

FOOD FOR MEDITATION Compiled by Paul Clasper, Dean of St. John's Cathedral, Hong Kong. Printed by The Green Pagoda Press Ltd., Hong Kong. This is a small devotional pamphlet gathering quotations that Dean Clasper originally printed on the Cathedral's weekly notice-sheet, collected here in book form at the suggestion of a parishioner, June Li.

The selections draw on a wide range of writers, including C.S. Lewis and Jacques Maritain. This particular copy is a presentation copy: a loosely inserted/printed leaf states it is given 'With the compliments of Paul and Janet Clasper, in appreciation of friendship in Hong Kong,' and the half-title is inscribed in ink, 'To Roger, from Janet & Paul Clasper.'

Condition

Book
Very Good – a staple-bound softcover pamphlet with light overall toning to the covers consistent with age, a few small spots of foxing, and a faint crease to the front cover. Interior pages are clean and legible throughout.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
