This is the official illustrated history of the Dr. Martens boot, published directly by AirWair Limited (the company behind the Dr. Martens brand) rather than by a conventional trade publisher. Text by Martin Roach, with concept, production and project management by Gary Pettet and Independent Music Press Ltd. Printed in Italy. The book has a pictorial hardcover with the boot photography printed directly onto the boards rather than a separate dust jacket, so there is no jacket to grade.

- Good – a sound, solidly-bound copy showing noticeable wear to the printed board covers, including bumped and rubbed corners. There are small pencil price/date notations on an interior page near the back, consistent with prior bookseller handling. Text block is clean and complete.
