- Good – Cloth shows rubbing and wear at the edges and spine ends, with some fraying at the head and tail of the spine. Light marks to the front board. Paper toned with light foxing. Ownership inscription 'H.C. Franks, Charterhouse, July 1941' in red ink on the free leaf, and a pencilled '3/6' price mark.
