About this copy
This is the first English-language edition published in Great Britain, translated from the Italian original '365 giorni con San Francesco' (Edizioni San Paolo, 2008). The book gathers daily readings drawn from St Francis's own writings and early writings about him, sourced from the three-volume 'Francis of Assisi: Early Documents' series. The book is bound in illustrated laminated boards printed with an illuminated-manuscript-style design and includes a sewn red ribbon page marker.
No dust jacket was issued for this edition; the pictorial boards form the outer cover.
Condition
- Book
- Good – text block and binding are tight and square. Scattered brown spotting/foxing is visible on the front and rear covers, with light general handling wear to the board edges. A small printed barcode sticker is present on the rear cover.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
