Das Neue Testament nach der deutschen Übersetzung Martin Luthers. Pocket-size German New Testament with Psalms, published by the British and Foreign Bible Society, London, 1959. This is a 1959 British and Foreign Bible Society printing of Luther's New Testament text, revised to the text approved by the Deutscher Evangelischer Kirchenausschuß.
It is not a first edition, and no earlier printing history is shown on the copy. The title page, verso and contents are present. The book is in a green cloth binding with no dust jacket.
The front endpaper bears a pencilled ownership name, 'Mr. R. J. Palfrey', with an English address. There is no signature by any identified figure.

- Fair – green cloth boards are soiled, faded and rubbed, with creasing and staining to the front board. The spine head and corners show fraying. The text block is yellowed with light foxing at the edges. The pencilled ownership name is on the front endpaper.
