This is the hardback illustrated sale catalogue for Bonhams Sale 18493, held at New Bond Street, London on Tuesday 9 November 2010, dispersing Part I of the Edward Wrangham collection of Japanese art, including inro, netsuke, lacquer and related works.
Lots are illustrated in colour with full catalogue descriptions, provenance notes, and pre-sale estimates given in both GBP and JPY. A loose contemporary printout of the Bonhams 'Results Prices Print' listing hammer prices achieved for many of the lots in this sale is laid in with the book (not part of the original publication, but a useful piece of research ephemera for this specific sale). The binding is a full pictorial hardback with a gold lacquer chrysanthemum design to the boards; there was no separate dust jacket issued for this catalogue.

- Book
- Very Good – a clean, sound copy with bright pictorial boards. There is a small area of surface loss to the laminate at the top corner of the front board, and light scattered foxing to the front free endpaper and to one interior page. Text block otherwise clean.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
