About this copy

This is the exhibition catalogue produced for the 1971 touring exhibition of art treasures from the Japanese Imperial Collections, shown at the British Museum (London), Studio 44/Crédit Communal (Brussels), and the Japanisches Kulturinstitut (Cologne). The catalogue is presented in English and German, with the Japanese title blind-embossed on the front cover alongside a brush-written Japanese inscription. Softcover binding with red paper lining to the inner covers.

Condition

Book
Good – covers show general soiling and toning consistent with age; a faint diagonal crease and a small mark are visible on the rear cover. Text block not examined for internal condition beyond photographed pages.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
