This is the printed libretto (Textbuch) for Berg's opera Wozzeck, op. 7, after Georg Büchner, issued by Universal Edition under catalogue number UE 7383. The text in German.
The copyright page shows the original 1923 copyright with a 1951 renewal noted for Helene Berg; a printer's code on the rear wrapper ('W VIII/59') indicates this particular copy is from a later Universal Edition printing run rather than the original 1923 issue. The title page carries the printed dedication 'Alma Maria Mahler zugeeignet'. Issued in the publisher's original tan paper wrappers, as typically produced for this series; no dust jacket, none issued.

- Good – wrappers show edge wear, a diagonal crease/small nick near the top of the front cover, and light corner bumping. Text block appears clean and complete throughout the photographed pages. A small pencilled price annotation appears on the rear wrapper.
