About this copy
This is the UK hardback first edition of John Nichol's account of the RAF Tornado bomber, drawing on his own experience as a Tornado navigator shot down and captured during the first Gulf War. The copyright page carries the 2021 first publication statement and a full number line, consistent with a first printing. The book retains its original pictorial dust jacket, which depicts a Tornado jet on the front and contemporary newspaper front pages relating to the Gulf War on the back.
Condition
- Book
- Good – boards and text block appear sound and clean in the photographs provided, consistent with light handling.
- Dust jacket
- Good – some scattered marks/spotting along the yellow border and top edge, plus a small nick at the top of the spine area; otherwise bright and presentable.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
