About this copy

This is a hardcover copy of Goold-Adams' account of the salvage and return of Brunel's SS Great Britain to Bristol in 1970, written by the Chairman of the SS Great Britain Project. The copyright page shows only the 1976 copyright date and ISBN, with no further printing history stated. The book is bound in blue cloth boards and retains its original illustrated dust jacket, designed by James Campus.

The title page bears a signature reading "Richard Goold-Adams"; while this matches the author's name, we cannot independently authenticate it as the author's genuine signature from photographs alone.

Condition

Good – clean blue cloth boards with no major issues noted from photographs; text block not fully inspected for foxing or other issues.
