About this copy

This is a copy from Thomas Nelson & Sons' 'Nelson Classics' series, an affordable reprint line of standard authors. No copyright or printing statement page was available to photograph, so the exact printing date cannot be confirmed from the images, but the format and text layout are consistent with a later reprint rather than the 1889 first edition (originally published by Cassell & Co.). The book is bound in red cloth with gilt lettering to the spine.

No dust jacket is present.

Condition

Book
Good – Red cloth binding shows rubbing and wear at the spine ends and corners, consistent with age and handling. Some foxing/spotting is visible on the endpapers and early leaves. The text block is complete and sound.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
