About this copy
This is The Scouter's Books No. 3, a slim instructional pamphlet for Scout leaders, issued in printed card wrappers and originally priced at one shilling. The copyright page is marked 'First Edition, November, 1953,' and no later printing or reprint notice appears, indicating this is a first-edition copy. It was printed by Leveridge & Co. of Harlesden, London.
The booklet opens with a quotation from Lord Rowallan, the Chief Scout, dated February 1945. A rear page lists the other titles in the Scouter's Books series: 100 Ideas for Troop Meetings, The Court of Honour, and 100 Ideas for Pack Meetings.
Condition
- Book
- Good - stapled pamphlet in illustrated card wrappers, with light edge and corner wear to the covers and minor staining near the staple binding on the interior leaves. Text is clean and legible throughout. No dust jacket, as issued.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
