About this copy

This is the first (and only) complete collected edition of the underground 1970s magazine 'The Country Bizarre', gathering all 11 original issues (1970-74) into a single hardcover volume. The copyright page confirms this was first published in book form by Astragal Books in 1976, with no later printings indicated. The book is bound in green cloth boards and is presented in its original pictorial dust jacket, designed by Graham Mitchener, priced £5.95 and unclipped.

Condition

Book
Good – boards and spine appear sound; please see photographs for full detail of the text block.
Dust jacket
Good – general wear consistent with age, including toning and rubbing to the spine and edges, and a corner chip/tear at the top of the front panel with a small corresponding loss at the top of the rear panel.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
