This collection brings together a new selection of his sketches and drawings about human beings and less alarming creatures, showing his gift for gentle absurdity at its very best.
This copy is a February 1949 reprint of the first British edition, issued in a pale green cloth binding with a black line drawing of two dogs to the front board. The spine is lettered in black with a Thurber drawing of a dog with a ball.
