About this copy
Revised Edition. Publication year not established from photographs. This is the revised edition as stated on the title page.
It is not a first edition. The copyright page was not photographed, so the exact year of this revision is not confirmed. The text is illustrated with 10 maps and 64 photographs, as described on the jacket flap.
The dust jacket is present and has edge chipping and small tears, plus a replacement price sticker reading £3.20 net over the printed flap price. The original printed price is not legible.
Condition
- Book
- Good – Sound, tight binding with clean text as far as the photographs show. Ownership inscription 'Peter J Southgate, March 1976' and a 'From the Library of Peter J Southgate' bookplate on the front endpaper. Light age toning to pages.
- Dust jacket
- Good – Edge chipping and small tears at the top and bottom of the spine and corners, light rubbing to the spine and surface, and a replacement price sticker on the front flap.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
