About this copy

First edition (2005). A 100-year history of Chelsea Lodge No. 3098, a Masonic lodge founded in 1905 by artists and musicians. The book chronicles the lodge's membership and their contributions to entertainment – music hall, variety, circus, pantomime, comedy, magic, ventriloquism, film, radio, television, and orchestral music.

It includes biographical sketches of notable members and performers over the century. Hardback casebound with illustrated dust jacket featuring theatre curtains and architectural imagery. The cover design is by Ray Donn.

Condition

Book
Very Good – clean pages, tight binding, no foxing or staining. Minor rubbing to casebound covers consistent with shelf wear and age, but structurally sound.
Dust jacket
Very Good – vibrant colours throughout, minor wear to spine, no tears or chips visible.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
