About this copy
This is a bilingual (Hebrew and English) commemorative volume documenting the 1967 Six Day War, printed by offset at Dfus Yafo, Tel Aviv, in July 1967, close to the events it depicts. The printing/credits page lists several contributing photographers and photo agencies of the period. A period souvenir compliments card from the Ashkelon Hotel, Israel, is affixed to the front free endpaper – unrelated ephemera from the book's working life, not part of the original publication, but of some incidental interest.
Condition
- Book
- Fair – boards are heavily foxed and stained, with fraying and small chips to the edges and corners, especially along the top edge of the front board. The spine shows wear and a small crease near the head. The front free endpaper has a small tear near the gutter. Internally the text block is intact. No dust jacket.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
