About this copy
This is the November 1985 reprint, following the first publication in October 1985 by Sidgwick & Jackson, as stated on the copyright page. Sketch maps and line drawings are by Milne Stebbing Illustration, with jacket design by Peter Stebbing. A hardcover copy in its original glossy pictorial dust jacket.
The front free endpaper carries an ownership signature reading 'Alan Schofield', dated 1985 in another hand; this appears to be a previous owner's name rather than an author signature or association copy, and is offered as such.
Condition
- Book
- Very Good – boards and text block are clean and sound, with no significant damage noted.
- Dust jacket
- Very Good – light shelf wear and scuffing to the corners and spine tips; price is intact and unclipped on the front flap (£15.00 net, UK only).
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
