About this copy
This is the first edition, first printing of this illustrated history of Bristol's docks and city in the post-war years, telling the story of the Port of Bristol from the Second World War through decades of modernisation and redevelopment. The text is by Robert Wall, a long-serving member of the Port of Bristol Authority, and the book is illustrated throughout with colour paintings and line drawings by Bristol artist Frank Shipsides. A hardcover in the original illustrated dust jacket.
