About this copy
This is the first UK edition, published by Piatkus of Loughton, Essex in 1982. The novel was originally copyrighted in the United States in 1970 by Virginia Coffman; this hardcover represents its first British publication, printed and bound in Great Britain by Mackays of Chatham Ltd. The dust jacket was designed by Ken Leeder, with a cover photograph courtesy of Tony Stone Associates, and appears to be the original jacket issued with this copy.
Condition
- Book
- Very Good – boards are clean and square with no inscriptions noted.
- Dust jacket
- Good – a diagonal crease toward the top right corner of the front panel, minor edge and corner wear, and some faint handling marks to the rear panel.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
