About this copy

This volume, part of the 'Unexplained' series originating from the 1980s partwork of the same name, was first published by Orbis Publishing Limited in 1984 and was reprinted in 1989 by Macdonald & Co (Publishers) Ltd. This copy is the 1989 reprint, not the original 1984 first edition. The book has laminated pictorial boards and no dust jacket was issued with this binding style. This copy is a former library book, bearing an institutional library stamp on the front endpaper and a handwritten accession number on the title page.

Condition

Book
Fair - Laminated boards show heavy scuffing, scratching, and loss of gloss to the front, rear, and spine panels, consistent with library use. Corners and edges are worn. Preliminary pages show some toning at the edges. Library stamp present on front endpaper and accession number in pencil/ink on title page. Text block is sound and complete.

This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
