About this copy
This is the Guild Publishing book club edition, issued by arrangement with original publisher David & Charles. The copyright page is dated 1988 and states "Reprinted 1988," indicating this copy is a reprint rather than the first printing of this edition. Bound in glossy illustrated boards with no separate dust jacket, as issued for this book club edition.
Pictorial blurb strips are pasted to the front and rear endpapers.
Condition
- Book
- Good – glossy pictorial boards show light shelf wear with a small mark on the front cover. The pasted-in endpaper blurb strips show some foxing/spotting at the edges. A thin wire remnant is visible near the title page gutter. Text block otherwise appears clean and sound.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
