About this copy
Life Without Strain by Henry Thomas Hamblin, Third Edition, published by The Science of Thought Press, Chichester, England, 1974. For readers drawn to the New Thought tradition, Henry Thomas Hamblin's Life Without Strain has been a beloved guide to inner calm for generations. First published in 1941, it sets out the strifeless way to harmony, peace and joy, with chapters on overcoming difficulty without resistance, the power of the silent mind, and simple methods for successful living.
Its gentle, encouraging voice has kept it in print through several editions. This copy is the Third Edition, five thousand copies, from 1974. It is a sound paperback in its pale blue card wraps, with the complete contents and the publisher's edition history on the reverse of the title page.
Book: Good. The binding is tight and the pages are secure and clean. The front cover has minor surface marks, a small dark spot near the title, and some light scuffing along the edges and at the foot of the spine.
A pre-owned book; any wear beyond that described is minor and in keeping with its age.
