This is a softcover volume from Hatier's long-running 'Les Classiques pour tous' series (No. 12), a French school-text edition of Molière's play with accompanying scholarly notes and suggested composition topics by Ch.-M. Des Granges, Professor at the Lycée Charlemagne. The title page describes it as a 'Nouvelle édition avec Sujets de Composition française.' No specific printing date is legible in this copy, and it should therefore not be assumed to be a first edition of this text.
The book is bound in the series' characteristic decorative tan wrappers with a red-printed border and a portrait medallion of Molière on the front.
