About this copy
This is a copy from the Collection Classique du Milieu du Monde, a mid-20th-century French series of classic texts published under the direction of Henri Guillemin, professeur à la Faculté des lettres de Bordeaux, who also supplies the introduction to this volume. This title is listed as number 17 in the série verte (novels) within the series. No date of printing is visible in the photographs, so the specific printing cannot be confirmed.
The book is bound in illustrated paper-covered boards with a green cloth spine, decorated with a repeating horse motif border. There is no dust jacket.
Condition
- Book
- Good – sound and tightly bound copy with clean text block and endpapers. The front board shows a vertical crease near the spine and some light general soiling/staining. Spine ends and corners show light rubbing consistent with age and handling.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
