This is the Book Club Associates edition, published in 1983 by arrangement with Sidgwick & Jackson Limited, the book's original UK publisher, which also issued the work for the first time that same year. This is a book club printing rather than the trade first edition. The book has pictorial laminated boards reproducing the original jacket artwork (photography from the Joseph Abeles Collection of Theatre Photography), and no separate dust jacket is present.
