About this copy
This is the Second Facsimile Edition, issued in 1991 to mark the 100th anniversary of the book's original 1891 publication. It is a limited edition of 500 numbered copies; this copy is number 182. It is a facsimile reprint, not the original 1891 first edition.
The limitation page is signed by Leslie W. Bishop, President of the Kingswood History Society and Kingswood Borough Mayor 1991-92, who also wrote the introduction to this edition. The front free endpaper additionally carries an earlier owner's handwritten Christmas gift inscription, unrelated to Bishop's signature. Bound in blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to the front cover and spine.
No dust jacket, as issued.
Condition
- Book
- Very Good – clean, tight copy with only light wear to the spine ends and corners. Text and boards otherwise clean.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
