FIRST AID MANUAL The Authorised Manual of St. John Ambulance, St. Andrew's Ambulance Association, and The British Red Cross Society. Third Edition, 1972. This is the Third Edition of the jointly authorised First Aid Manual, as clearly stated on the title page ("THIRD EDITION 1972").
It is not a first edition. The manual was produced collaboratively by the three named organisations and served as a standard first aid reference of the period. Softcover format with the recognisable concentric target-and-cross cover design in red, blue and black.
There is no dust jacket, as issued.
Condition
- Book
- Good – a sound, complete reading copy showing typical wear for its age. Corners are rounded and worn, particularly on the front cover, and there is a small reddish stain near the top edge of both the front and rear covers. The spine is intact with some light creasing. A previous owner has written their name in ink at the top of the title page.
This is a pre-owned book, and minor age-related wear may be present beyond what is specifically mentioned. All readily visible defects have been described to the best of my ability. Please see photos, which form part of the description.
